June 19-21, 2019 – 24 AICP CM credits pending.

The Netherlands has one of the most sustainable transportation systems in the world.  This study tour showcases how the Dutch plan for walking, bicycling, automobiles and transit.  Participants learn best design and management practices from leading Dutch and American transportation planners and practitioners via tours by bicycle, foot and train to Amsterdam, Delft, and Rotterdam.  The focus on active learning helps participants take the lessons home and translate these ideas to American communities.
