Assembled by the FAU Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions (CUES) staff, graduate assistants, and volunteers, “The Megaphone” is a re-purposed shipping container that has been turned into a creative hub that amplifies the voice of the Sistrunk community in downtown Fort Lauderdale. While exchanging local knowledge through mapping everyday stories of place, the CUES project team is developing planning tool kits that support and promote industries that lead to a “Made in Sistrunk” mentality.
